Thank you for your interest in my campaign. When considering the Libertarian perspective, please remember that the Libertarian Party is the only party that will fight for freedom in both our social and fiscal lives. Regarding the issues you mentioned, by deregulating and allowing the People to resolve our challenges in society through innovation, we will be able to provide better services at a more affordable price. The overall result is saving the state a tremendous amount of money while the needs of the People are fulfilled. For a more in-depth answer, please review the previous comment. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michael Patti

Thank you for looking at my website. I have several issues listed including state parks, immigration, education, water and deregulation. I am not sure why it is not working on your computer. Please inform me if the problem persists. Regarding marriage, the government should not dictate with whom one may marry. It is not the government’s role to do so. Regarding the other services, by removing the government in such areas, the private sector will be able to replace the government in providing better and more affordable services. The only role I support government is public safety to protect us from force and fraud. By downsizing the government, the cities and state won't need the amount of money they currently need (and waste) now. Immigration, we have problems with immigration because the government attempts to regulate it. The only real way to protect the people is to make it easier for workers to work here legally so they are not hidden in the shadows of our society. Although I am not for amnesty, I am for a change in current law that rewards people who follow the rule of law.

If we continue to think that the government can run schools, emergency services, offices, roadways, etc. our financial problems will exist for generations. By simply giving more money to such programs only increase the bureaucracies to reduce our liberties and bankrupt the state.

Your interested in greatly appreciated. I will post your questions on my website so others may see my response.

Sincerely,

Michael Patti

If we do away with all property and income taxes, we will have to raise our sales taxes to make up for the difference, right? The state and cities need enough money to run schools, emergency services, offices, roadways, etc. What would we have to raise the sales tax to in order to have enough funding for our community services?

You don't have any other 'Issues' listed except for taxes. What do you think of the immigration law? Same sex marraiges? All the other issues?

The party of "no" has criticisms and objections toward a lot of current political agendas, but offer no constructive or viable solutions. What are you, as Senator, going to offer as solutions to correct what you think is wrong with the current political/social situation?

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for running for public office. My question is: If there is no property tax and no state income tax, how are public services, such as police, fire department, water & sewage, parks, hospitals, roads, and schools, going to be funded?
