Libertarianism is the belief that all government powers are derived from the governed;  that is you and me.

That government is limited by the people, not people by the government.

This short, animated movie is a terrific intro to the Philosophy…

English Version

Spanish Version

A graduate of ASU with degrees in Political Science and Spanish, I have traveled Europe and taught both English and Spanish while exploring political beliefs, including my own.  Finding personal satisfaction in my volunteer teaching, I embarked on a career in education, teaching Spanish in the Peoria School District.

As a teacher and coach, I soon understood that no two individuals are alike, and that the more choices given to my students and players the happier and more productive they are.

Well isn’t that the same philosophy that is at the root of the American political system- freedom and choice?

Realizing that this same system has become choked by endless regulations and taxes, I felt compelled to get actively involved in local politics.  I know first hand that freedom and choice works.   Limiting the tentacles of the government into the private lives of peaceful individuals and allowing for more free market solutions will result in happier and more productive citizens.

My goal, as Senator for LD 9, will be to reduce the size of government, reduce regulations and get back to the roots of Constitutional based government.
